My Party is about the freedom to be who you want to be, at home in your own space.
Every bloom is outlined in navy, acid yellow and turquoise oil stick drawn over the dry paint, so the bouquet seems to hum with its own energy. The colors celebrate, and the feeling underneath is more complicated.
It was painted as one half of a pair with Leaving the Party: the staying and the going.
